Thank you a great short notice stay at this wonderful motel. The facilities are spotless and the attention to detail is great. It was right in front of the beach which was absolutely excellent, I took a walk on the beach with some of my friends and it was just great. Just a few minutes walk to the Little Manly... More

Motel complex right across road from lovely Little Manly beach. Spacious rooms which were clean. Although the restaurant and breakfast were unavailable when we stayed there are very good restaurants for breakfasts through to evening meals in the township 5mins drive away. Only 30mins approx from Auckland city off Northern Motorway. Both Gulf Harbour and Penninsula Golf Courses are close... More

We decided to have a weekend away..my husband booked the lodge on wotif. A few minutes after making the booking he got a phone call from the lodge "Oh sorry we have jusy sold the room type (with Spa bath) you booked to a walkin." After offering a down graded room with 1x free breakfast, my husband refused and asked... More

We booked into Whangaparaoa Lodge to attend a sports tournament, location and facilities were great, staff were amazing and very patient with our players and always willing to assist. They were able too cater to our budget regarding food and again went over and beyond. Our team were very impressed with the lodge and we will definitely be booking in... More

Hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights as I had business in this area over 3 days - Fri, Sat and Sun. Didn't really need to stay as we live on Auckland's North Shore and could have just travelled back and forth on those days, however we decided to make a "weekend break" of it. Check in is from... First impression was very poor. I don't understand why as a guest you can't be greeting with a hello and a smile. Had to ring the bell and wait ages for a girl to open the reception door, no greeting, no apology for keeping me waiting, just a grunt as she sat down at the desk to tap into the... More

First night in room 13, bit dark, but when Room 14 became available we extended our stay another 3 nights and moved in! Having a side patio window and moving the outside table round the corner we had our own private balcony for sunrises and sunsets. Faces due East. The Little Manly Beach is straight across the busy road and... More

This motel is more than a motel with its recently opened cafe and breakfast room service the owners go above and beyond the typical motel stereotype. Not one to usually stay in motels, usually opting for hotels, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, friendly and upmarket it was. Although it is situated on a busy road, this never bothered... Great spot, lots of great outdoor opportunities, great restaurants and beaches close by. The motel has great amenities and a restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast lunch and dinner most days but the road noise drove us away. Hearing the owner tell me that I was the first one that had complained made me laugh, all those trucks and motorbikes on... More
