“best deal in Italy”

I have not been there since 1995, but remember it to the most inexpensive hotel in the area. The food is fantastic and the hosts are wonderful. They will even do your laundry. I strongly recommend it

Hotel has charming rooms, welcoming host, and terrific restaurant (with Chef Walter Redaelli) but location was poor. Hotel is off the A1 (big motor highway) so you can hear the highway during the night. We asked for a view room (which we got), but it overlooked the restaurant so it was noisy until the restaurant closed (past midnight). The room... More

This Locanda was everything I imagined about a "home" in Tuscany. Our room was in a quite corner of the second floor overlooking the Tuscan countryside on three sides. We found this hotel/B&B by accident while driving from Rome to Venice in the beginning of June, 2005.
