We camped here and were made to feel welcome by the owners and staff. It was fantastic getting to know more about the area through Geraldina, Moses and Eric, and gain insight into their daily lives, achievements (and there were many!) and aspirations. The camping was great, as were the facilities - lots of hot water in the showers. A... More

Stayed here for a night 25 jul; arriving early evening. The lodge is a hidden jewel especially for those off a full day drive. The sundowners were very welcome but the dinner is tops. Laid out for an 'army' and all delicious. The hosts were fantastic. They even made a birthday cake for one in our party and the presentation... More

We stayed at n'Kwazi Lodge as part of an overland tour. Our chalet was very large however it was quite dark as not much natural light got into our room and electricity is only turned on from 5:30pm to 11pm. The bathroom is in darkness for most of the day. The shower had hot water and tap water is not... More

I agree with the prior reviewers (rating it 4* and higher). I will add some additional information from my stay there juli 2010. The trip to the pre-school and the Rundu school were amazing. We combined it with the village walk home. Paid 150 NAD for the three visits and it was worth every penny. The lodge owners supports the... More

My wife and I stayed in a group here for 2 nights. The location is beautiful and we visted the school and village that the lodge supports. The vists were very worthwhile. The swimming pool is still not available. The accomodation is comfortable and clean. The "wasps" are not wasps and do not bother you. The food is good and... More

Heavily damaged by last year’s floods the team are trying to repair it, most of it has been done, but the swimming pool was unavailable. The rooms were basic but had all the necessities, one thing I found peculiar was that there are no windows, just a metal mesh, and whilst this would be good for the summer we stayed... More

Last November we stayed for two nights at this very nice lodge on the way to and from the Caprivi strip. We passed Rundu on the higway and after a couple of kilometers turned off to drive for 15 k on sand and gravel roads (Kwazi Lodge signs at turn offs). We were travelling at the beginning of the rainy... More

n'Kwazi is a retreat in adventure style. You are very close to nature, i.e. the Okavango river and a beautiful tropical garden. If you want to travel in Africa, this is what you hope for. But n'Kwazi is not only a lodge, they run several social projects to help the poor around them and especially the orphans. I spent a... More

My friends and I were planning to stay at n'Kwazi Lodge in early June as a stop-over between Chobe NP and Etosha NP. We read reviews online and after careful research we figured this would be the best place to stay in the Rundu area. Well, we were very wrong... This has got to be the scariest hotel on the... More

We stayed at n'Kwazi Lodge for 1 night en-route from Frans Indongo to Lianshulu Lodge. Although it is down a very rural/sandy/gravel road, our toyota corolla managed with ease. The lodge is set on the banks of the river across from Angola and offers sunset cruises - albeit on what can only be described as a 'make shift' vessel !!... More
