Not a hostal but a hotel. Checking in was amazing. You leave your baggage to be ferried over while you get the local short every few minutes free ferry over to the island of Wuzhen West. Difficult to beat the location.
The hotel is probably no more than a few years old but beginning to show distinct signs of wear....

I was surprised at first when I went to add a review and couldn't find this hotel as it is easily one of the nicest I've ever stayed in, in any country! Don't be fooled - the "Hostel" in the name is a misnomer. This is NOT a hostel - it's currently a 4.5 star hotel, undoubtedly on its way...
