A good modern hotel in a great location. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and all the staff are pleasant and welcoming. The room was a good size and well appointed with a large comfortable bed. There was a full size fridge with an ice box so it would be worth taking ice cube bags for that cool drink. There is ample hanging space and shelves but it might be worth taking some extra hangers with you. There was a good choice at breakfast of hot and cold food and the tables in the dining room are well spaced which gives it an airy feel. There are some nice walks along the back streets behind the hotel where the chickens run free. It is worth noting that there is a €10 charge per day for air con and a €20 charge for the safe add this to the tourist tax (€1.50/day) and before you know it you've spent over €100. Having said that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was actually really good and staff were lovely. The only issue was that there was far too much chlorine put into the pool, which stained all our swimwear yellow. We even witnessed the hotel pool operative putting chlorine in the pool whilst it was being used.

A basic but nice hotel, very clean, a really comfortable bed and well maintained. We had the superior room with a huge balcony with 2 chairs, 2 loungers and a sea view. We were glad to have our own private space, as there weren't enough sun loungers around the pool, plus quite a few people went out early to put their towels on sunloungers. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned daily. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, just a kettle, so we had to buy our own coffee and milk. Breakfast was fine, with a good range of food. There are plenty of shops and a supermarket very close by which was good. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, mainly authentic greek tavernas which we like and the food excellent. The area itself is quite touristy and a bit too touristy of us. The beach is really close but it's not much of a beach, however, if you want to just go for a swim in the sea this is very easy to do.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. We are a family of 3 with a 3 year old son. The hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast was lovely and pool area nice and simple with plenty of sun beds. Good location with so many Tavernas and shops. No beach to speak of which was only downside of area. The hotel atmosphere felt a little cold to us. To be fair its not really a hotel for young children and we did visit at the end of the season. More suited to couples than young families.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a friendly member of the reception team. Given our room key and advised if we wanted air con it was 10 euros per day we then had to pay 20 euros for pool towels (refundable and a deposit for the fridge key as well as paying 40euros for the safe in the room so before we even started we parted with 240 euros. ( we were aware of some of these costings prior to arriving). the hotel is extremely clean and staff friendly. the pool area was very well maintained with sufficient sun loungers around it. your swim wear and hair ( if like me your a grey fox does tend to go yellow due to the chlorine in the pool.) The rep ( TUI) i have to say was not used by us except to establish where the pick up point for the coach for our return to airport was located, sadly she gave false info stating it was at the bottom of the road outside the supermarket by the benches , this was not the case the pick up point was outside the hotel it was only the fact that i saw the coach exiting the junction by the supermarket where we waited that we were able to flag down the driver and get the transfer back to the airport. Argassi sadly does not have a beach to speak of so if your looking for a beach holiday look somewhere else the main street is where the majority of the restaurants are located and the following ones were our favourite Zinc, Charlie Chaplins, ( named by the owner in memory of his childhood watching charlie chaplin movies with his grandfather). Zorbas however our favourite was ERATO located just of the main street and on the same road as the hotel. this is an excellent family run restaurant and Socrates and his sister Leah offer a trully warm family welcome the food is lovely. The downside regarding this resort for us was traffic was a little tyoo noisy with quad bikes zipping up and down regularly ( we know its the norm these days but if you want quiet evening meals something to consider) That said we spent 14 nights at the hotel and had a lovely relaxing holiday

Brilliant hotel. Right in the heart of the town, but not loud or busy on site. Immaculately clean hotel, very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were really well appointed and room was excellent. We paid for a pool/sea view, which didn’t disappoint. Good sized pool and plenty of sun beds. Slight downside was the on-site cafe/bar. Very over priced with signs insisting only food and drink bought there could be consumed stating it was by Greek Law! Seemingly there is no law. They proprietor would have done way more trade with a sign saying his food and drink was cheaper than the local shops then people would have gone there instead of shopping a few yards further down the road! As always the Jet2 package holiday delivered from start to finish.

Lovely hotel, great location, very clean, really comfortable bed and very well maintained. Our bathroom facilities were second to none. We had the superior room with a huge balcony with chairs and 2 loungers- fantastic views. Alexandra on hotel reception in an evening was an absolute gem, a credit to the hotel, really helpful and very friendly- thank you. The buffet breakfast was fresh, plentiful, regularly stocked and the staff very friendly. Pool area was well maintained with plenty of sun beds, although some people did go out early to reserve them. The pool bar and staff were a delight. A bit disappointed that we had to pay €10 euros per night for air conditioning- although it was essential to have. We were half board (first time in Greece). The evening meal was served inThe Poseidon restaurant adjacent to the hotel ( not part of the hotel?). The lady who worked there couldn’t do enough for you, the food was hot and tasty but for those on half board, the menu choice was limited. The chap who ran it wasn’t the friendliest, but maybe we caught him on a few ‘off nights’? Overall, a lovely hotel and would recommend.

hi we stayed at the palmyra in may for 10 nights this was our 3 visit any we will be there again next year,we had bed & breakfast and the choice of food is excellent. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds, the rooms are nice with half overlooking the pool area and the other half overlooking the gardens on which you have the sun in late afternoon so grab a cool drink from the fridge in the room and watch the sunset. All the staff are very polite and freindly from the reception to the maids. The restaurant and bar are run separately from the hotel there is a great choice on the menu and fantastic cocktails this is run marchella ,mikey & melissa who were fantastic from day one to our last day and we cant thank them enough for making our stay special and we cat wait to see them next year. The hotel is in the centre of the small town with bars and restaurants on the doorstep which is great for people with walking difficulties see you all next year joyce&steve from sunny dukinfield
