We are in the process of contacting French authorities who deal with Fraud as there is such an enormous discrepancy between what is shown on the website and what we found: we arrived after dark, no outside lights whatsoever; our first sight inside (in car headlights) was an abandoned car with the front bashed in, there were four more cars... A poor welcome which improved later in the evening. The setting of the manoir is spectacular. The room was very good and totally in keeping with an ancient building being both clean and comfortable. We keep coming back the Manoir du Riablay again and again. It is a great base for exploring the Loire chateaux, going on wine tours or just spending lazy days beside the swimming pool.
