We stayed for two nights in a 3rd floor sea view room. No it was not noisy (double glazing) - the balcony is about 1.3 meters high, only a dwarf would be unable to see over it! The rooms are of a good size, comfortable and clean. I'm not sure where the critics of this hotel stayed, but we were... More

We stayed one night during the holiday season. Three of us with our adult daughter. Very small room, complicated and uncomfortable extra-bed. No soundproofing and worse a very busy road AND a very active disco just accross the street. Uncooperative front desk. All this for only 170 Euros. Look for some other place.

I wanted to enjoy a peaceful, restful long week-end next to the see. Unfortunately everything offered by the hotel was the opposite. The room was above the entrance of the hotel. The see-view for which I paid 118E/night was small and only if stand. The hotel is situated in a roundabout and you hear all the noise of cars, motorcycles,... More

We stayed here at the beginning of April, and agree with previous reviews that this hotel is in need of updating and redecoration. The room we had overlooking the sea (as long as you were standing) was quite small and not somewhere you would want to stay for more than 1 night. The maintenance in the bathroom was poor, with... We had stayed at this hotel a few times previously, but since our last stay it has deteriorated to such an extent that we would never stay again. It is overpriced for what it offers and the only value is the free parking. We had a "suite" which was very pokey, the bedroom had just enough room for the bed... More

We stayed three nights and wished we hadn't stayed one. We paid over the top rates for a 'suite' - really more like a rabbit hutch. Obviously a once large room divided into two poky ones. We wanted a sea-view but you had to stand up to see the sea! It was stuffy, scruffy, stained and thoroughly past its sell-by.... More

I stayed here one night, in a ground floor smaller room - 100 euro a night with breakfast. Room is reasonable size, and adequate, but no atmosphere, and little of "quality" in the room. Carpet was stained. OK for a stop over, but still somewhat pricey - location probably justified the cost. Reception male staff were fine, free parking available... More

A really quite surprisingly good hotel given it's three star rating. The rooms are perfectly adequate, the views excellent and the restaurant is better than you'd expect. There's free parking. I only stayed one night on my way back from Spain to the UK but found it a pleasant stop-over.

Hotel has an excellent location just next to the sea and famous canals. Our room had a seaview and was very nice considering hotel only has 3 stars. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again in this hotel and would also recommed it to others.

We had 3 nights in this hotel, following a visit to the tourist information office. It's down on the old port, Approximately 2 kilometres from the train station, but we WALKED it with our wheeled cases, carefully avoiding the dogs mess every few metres, and back when the time came. We were first shown to a seaview room, but the... More
