We stayed for two nights 8-9/5/2012. On arrival General Manager Joe Walker made us very welcome. It was excellent value for money and ALL the staff were very good and friendly. We had never been before but we will return in the not too distant future. The only draw back were the height of the beds. This was not a...

We also used a Groupon voucher which was excellent value for money. We were only a hour away from where we live but that shortened our time in travel to the places we visited and as the pub is dog friendly we were able to take our small dog with us which was nice as we had planned to do...

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and looked nice, with fresh towels each day and drinks-making facilities. The delicious breakfasts set you up for the day, and the evening meals are also worth trying.

Smallish but adequate room. Free wifi didn't reach the furthest room. Tiny but again adequate shower room (no bath). Spotlessly clean and all in good condition.

My wife and I stayed here this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We booked it using a Group On voucher and decided to have a quiet night away without the kids but with our dog who received a friendly welcome from the owners and residents.
The reservoir walk is extremely near by and proved to be ideal for us...

Just returned from a stay at this lovely hotel. The place has been sympathetically updated and the modern aspects blend beautifully with the older original features. The bedroom, a double, but on the small side, but perfectly adequate for a short break, was complete with the obligatory tea making facilities and a rather smart flat screen TV. The ensuite was...

After a day in Harrogate we spent the night at the Hopper Lane Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Joe who carried our luggage (even thought it was pink! ) and had a wonderful two course meal in the restaurant. A good selection of beers and a friendly atmosphere made for a great stay. Comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast...
