Stayed for three nights over the June Bank Holiday weekend and was a bit disappointed. The area for tents is accessed by a back gate which leads you down to a parking area where the cars have to be left. This means that if the campsite is full - which it was - all of your gear has to be... More

Spent 5 nights here last week in one of the log cabins. This is my dream holiday park and my 6 year old daughter and 69 year old mother both loved it too. The log cabins are situated next to the lake away from the camping area and are extremely peaceful. They are of a high standard, tastefully furnished and... More

My wife and kids enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the new RV. Plenty to do! The kids enjoyed the bumper boats, camp fires and playing with the other kids. Wife and I had a nice time on the bicycles. Town is close should you need something, like a beer! Highly recommend! Facilities were clean and the staff were more than... More

We spent another few days at Hidden Valley in April of this year and once again we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, lots of good activities for the kids, very clean site and clean toilets/showers. We will most definitely be back this season. Thanks again Hidden Valley

Visited last summer and I would recommend as a great site for families with younger kids. Hospitable welcome from the site manager and helpful staff. Happy to provide local info and help. Location is close to Rathdrum, but not exactly within walking distance. Especially with young ones. The village is a good 15-20min walk uphill. Some nice pubs and restaurants... More

I stayed in Hidden valley for a week in August 2012 with my 11 year old. There is a lot to do on site like the playground, boats, river etc. We went to Arklow a few days. It's ideal for rainy days as there is a swimming pool and a cinema. The is a bowling alley and play area in... More

Thank you for your comments. We are aware of some of the stony areas in our camping field (due to location next to the river) and we are bringing in new soil and reseeding this season. We will be doing this in sections, so not to worry if you are camping with us this year. Our fridge/freezer in reception is... More
