I made the trip across the channel from Dover to Dunkerque where I embarked on a mini road trip. I spent 2 nights at the beginning of the trip and 1 night at the end in the Campanile Hotel. After trawling the internet for many days and finding there really aren't that many hotels in Dunkerque (something that surprised me... More

Stayed here for one night in November on our way to Amsterdam. Perfect for what we wanted - a clean comfortable bed for the night at a good price (49 euros). We arrived at 11pm, and there was a note on the reception door directing us to the next door Premier Classe to collect keys, which we did. We had... More

As a stop-over en route to the south of France, which is presumably why anyone would use it, it was fine. Room was adequate and well sound-proofed, particulalry with shutters down, bed ok. We ate in the restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised. Perhaps the room was a bit expensive for what it was, but overall I'd use the place again... More

We were here to pay our respects to the people killed in the Dunkirk Repatriation. The last two hotels (both French) were "dismal" and "a dump", so this one didn't have to be too good to beat them. The reception was OK. We were given a room and a key for the door. The bathroom was very good. We used... More

Stayed here on first night of holiday having crossed with DFDS from Dover. Depressing location and rooms very 'tired' in much need of refurbishment. Receptionist was a little abrupt. On the plus side the shower was good and the bed comfortable enough. Did not have dinner or breakfast - appeared overpriced with little choice

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was really convenient for us as we were attending a wedding in a village about 20km away, where there was limited accommodation available. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. Nice and clean. Decent shower is always welcome - France historically not being that good at showers in travel lodges. Free wi-fi... More

We made the mistake of asking if there were any vegetarian options on the menu. A very curt 'non' was given. We asked for an omlette and one member of staff seemed to be suggesting it was possible but the manager was not going to be helpful. In contrast the restuarant at the hotel Lac just over the road could... More
