We had a rest in Alkion September 2011.
We were quite amusing by good service, clean big rooms, friendly staff of this hotel. We had not expected such level of hotel for this price.
Food HB.
enough not to be hungry. But if you expected something , better go to nearest taverna.

A special hotel in a wild green park. Large room with four beds clean and large enough to be a playground for my daughter. Court and the pool clean and well maintained. Good food but little diversified. Coffee is absolutely horrible. Hardworking and very friendly staff. A 4-star hotel!
Just back from a last-minute week booked via Thomsons. Weather was 30-35 degrees every day-no rain at all. Rooms are basic but cleaned daily and fresh towels every 2 days. No beach towels given out so bring your own for the pool. We went self catering and bought what we needed at the local supermarkets-spent the days by the pool...

We did a pre-booked private taxi transfer, which took about an hour to the hotel.
Initially had trouble locating our driver at the airport - but then another driver showed up with our name card (think our driver was getting parked!).
The area is lovely - very green, and I've never seen so many olive trees!
