Rooms outdated. Food was good,especially Italian restaurant: pizza one of best I've ever had. Crepe restaurant on beach was fun. Very friendly staff,excellent. Beach not great,especially if you like walking,and pales in comparison to Punta Cana. May be good for swimming. Enough chairs for shade seekers. Beautiful grounds. Summary: Because of beach unlikely to return,but beautiful grounds,lovely staff,and good food.

This is an amazing resort in one of the most beautiful parts of the DR. Small but very well laid out, spotlessly clean and the beach is breathtaking. Delicious food and drinks, great service as always at the Catalonia properties. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
