It's unusual because the hotel and its facilities are enclosed away from the water but it does have a private pier that extends into the river --along with kayaks, boat trips, etc. Excellent water birds. Beautiful garden, pleasant pool though it could be bigger and cooler. Recommend large, high-ceilinged room on the upper floor facing the pool terraces.

The rooms and grounds were serene and very comfortable. Relaxation was so easy to come by. Lots of nice artwork. The rooms had good size jacuzzis inisde. Staff was excellent. We had a party of five and everyone is looking forward to return in the near future.
