After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor I found it a bit difflicult to choose where to stay in Wellington but I am delighted with my choice of the Old Vicarage. Once I found the car park - to the rear of the house round the back - not directly from Exeter Road - all was very plain sailing. A wizard... More

Having watched a highly amusing programme (with a serious point I think) on the impact of Tripadvisor on small hotels and b&bs whilst staying here on business, I felt inclined to write a review. I think I'll keep it short as I want this place to be available next time I have to stay in the area...but it was almost... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a long weekend of 4 nights. We wanted somewhere close to enough to the Blackdown Hills but didn't want somewhere too far from town. We received and warm and friendly welcome, and enjoyed a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed the locally sourced breakfast. Even close enough to the coast to get a good... More

A friendly and well run b&b with an outstanding breakfast. No wonder they have awards on the walls. Recommended. A sevure garage was provided to store bicycles overnight.

We only stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting our daughter who lived in Wellington just down the road. We were made to feel very welcome and the room was of a high standard and a very comfortable bed too. The breakfast is very varied and enjoyable with lots to choose from. Definitely a place to stay at again... More

Booked this B&B and then got a bit concerned when I read some of the negative trip advisor reviews. I need not have worried, the B&B is very comfortable, the hosts charming and very attentive and the food excellent. Would definately recommend. Tony Burch

Hi Tony, Yes we've had some problems with Tripadvisor associating our B&B with a completely unrelated place in Bridgewater... I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future! John More
