Having spent two months at Firefly Cove Beach Resort from Februaru 15 to April 10/2012, this is our testimony on this resort. There are four points that are essential to know to make sure to enjoy our stay on the island before choosing to spendyour vacation on Siquijor Island. First, the island is part of the third world . Second,... More

Modern, clean, beach front units with a stunning view of the sunrise. Rooms have A/C, fridge, overhead fans, tv/dvd, all the mod cons. Bathrooms also clean and modern with hot showers (not that you'll need them). With concrete steps to the private beach front and a nice shallow water reef directly in front, it's a great place to spend a... More

The rooms are modern and all have an ocean view. There is a/c, DVD player, fridge, once stocked minibar, cold shower. There is a small beach at low tide if you want to climb down volcanic rocks. The water was rough most days, but we managed a snorkel which was a little rough and average reef. The main issue with... More

We apologize that your stay with us was not to your satisfaction and we appreciate your feedback. We would like to take this opportunity to respond to the important points that you raised. You said Bad Location 1. This we do not understand as every other guest appreciates the close proximity to islands attractions ( see other reviews). We have... More

The best place we stayed in the Philippines! It's quiet, beautiful, and peaceful! The rooms were extremely clean. We had the small beach to ourselves. It's set back from the road, and at night, we opened the doors to our room and the only sound we could hear was the ocean! The owners and staff were extremely helpful. We arrived... More

We got so much help from Scott and Ces with everyting from directions, tips on activities and location of a doctor. Scott makes delicius food and his hamburgers are out... More

This was the nicest motel/resort that I've stayed in all of the Philippines. Only the Sumilon Blue Water Resort came close, and it is MUCH more expensive. I advise you to purchase the breakfast/dinner package as well as there are no good restaurants nearby that I know of. At $3,000 php ($70 USD) for two people and food, you can't... More

The best place we've stayed in 3 months! We pushed the budget a bit, but it was totally worth it :) New, clean, lovely, friendly, super tasty food, good vfm. Everyone who asked us where we were staying had good things to say. It is a little journey from the port, but that just means it's easier to explore a... More

I was really surprised when I got to the firefly cove resort, the Mediterranean style villa with a classy garden is really standing out from its neighbors. The rooms are brand new, the service is really great and personal thanks to the friendly american owner Scott and his assistant dviotic, and the food is good and plentiful. We stayed there... More

What an outstanding resort to stay in Siquijor. My wife and I live in Dumaguete City and frequently visit Siquijor and have stayed at or visited almost all resorts here in the past 5-years - but have not been fully satisfied as we were at the Firefly Cove. On arrival, 3-hours late because of ferry boat restricted docking to the... More
