Coma Ruga is a quaint town with a gorgeous beach, ideal for long walks. I could not have wished for better with spectacular views from my bedroom of the pristine beach and sparkling, warm sea. Great decor, excellent front of house and room service, good value cuisine considering the size of the dining room. Train service is great to neighbouring... More

The hotel is clean and modern, maybe a bit worn down but still woth the 50 €s. The location right at the beach and services are great (e.g. you can rent a bike for 3,50 €) and at the breakfast there is a great variety of choises. For dinner, i suggest you go someplace else.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel at the end of sep 2011 and enjoyed it thoroughly. The location of the beach (literally a stones throw away) was desirable. The beach looks beautiful on the photos, and this is not a lie, it truly is, soft sand and the sea was so clear you could stand in deep water... More

We stopped there when travelling through Spain in May 2011. Hotel looked expensive and it was located right on the beach. When we asked for a price of the room we were expecting to pay 150 euros or so but were nicely surprised to hear 50 euros! That was a nice surprise! I guess they wanted to fill the room... More

Spent three nights this month on a half board basis with a touring group. The rooms were clean, well decorated and had very comfortable beds. The food was buffet style and there was plenty of choice. Weren't disturbed by noise during the night, although there is a train line not far away at the back of the hotel. Fine for... More

We stayed her for a week on a walking holiday of the area. The room was quite spacious, nice bathroom, small fridge, fairly comfortable bed, BUT we only had 3 good nights sleep out of the week because of noise from the disco across the road and other guests. There was a huge corporate team building exercise over the weekend... More

It is a quite modern hotel, is located just in front of the seaside and the price was relatively good, 70 euros/night. The location was perfect, with a beatifull seaside view, the room was adequetly large, with two very comfortable double beds. The service was a little bit indifferent of customers needs, giving the impression of trying to do their... More

We had booked for a 14 day stay at this hotel and were looking forward to an enjoyable stay. As identified the hotel is across the street from the beach. We were very unhappy with the overall upkeep of the hotel. Everywhere one looked there were stains and damage to the walls and wood work. I will post some photos... More

this is a stunning hotel - beatifully furnished, clean spacious room, small fridge , air conditioning etc., BUT [ and it is a big but unless you are deaf and like crowds] the dining room was horrendous!!!! too big, understaffed, tables too close together, and clearly geared to spanish food tastes rather than international cuisine!!! I am allergic to eggs... More

After reading some reviews we were a bit nervous about our booking. Once we arrived at the hotel, it was amazing. Staff was friendly, room was better than what we expected, service outstanding. Location is across the street and Coma Ruga has one of the widest beaches you'll find, crystal clean water and no seaweed or anything in the water-absolutely... More
