A very relaxed hotel, with an atmosphere of faded ambition but still comfortable and clean. Rooms at the front have a great view of Taipa and the tower, rooms at the back are dark as they face the hillside. Internet access is very expensive - 150 patacas for 24 hours, but is free in the tiny 'business centre'. The swimming... More

This place is disgusting. I don't know when the other reviews were written, but this place has suffered severe water damage since. The smell of mold and mildew are permanent. You can see the mold coming through the wall paper. The staff are unfriendly and the buffet will scare you. My advice: Spend a couple more bucks, stay somewhere else,... More

Spent 2 nights (29-31 March 12) in this hotel, booked through agent in HK. The hotel standard room is big, basically it provided all our needs and the facilities are close to 5 stars hotel. The room are very clean and quite. It has a very nice night view (Macau tower & bridges). Although the location of this hotel is outside... More

We spent the night in Macau and booked this hotel (now called Riveria) via a travel company in Hong Kong. To be honest, we didn't actually spent that much time in the hotel as we were only there for 1 night, but essentially, the hotel catered for our needs. For breakfast, there was a buffet with a choice for all.... More

Hotel Ritz Macau, now renamed, Hotel Riviera Macau is in a wonderful location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Just down the street from the Chinese consulate, so there are cameras and guards on the nearby street corners. Macau is not a big place and u can walk most places of interest easily. Rooms were clean but dated, views only from... More

We stayed at this hotel, now called the Riviera, for several nights and enjoyed our stay. Whether or not it's well-located depends on your interests. For the historic areas of Macau it's ideal, with the 20 minute walk to the town centre taking in many of the top sights on the way (or you can just go up the main... More

The rooms are clean and have good standards but there is nothing special about this hotel. The location is bad for being Macau but as Macau is a small place the hotel is anyway quite close to everything. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you get a good price. The price during the stay was about HK$... More

- The room was so noisy all night that I couldn't sleep (although I turned my AC off, there was some kind of AC noise all night coming from the ceiling) - Staff was ignorant towards my complaint => Don't stay there if you want to sleep. Otherwise: Rooms would have been okay (e.g. size, bed), though quite dark and... More

It's on the hill, not in city center, but Macau is just a small city, plus the hotel also provides free shuttle bus to the city and ferry terminal that runs every 30 minutes. It has a good view to the lake, to the famous Macau-Taipa Bridge, and Macau Tower. Don't take the hill view room as there is no... More
