Opposite the south entrance of the Fira. Strange red coloured round swriling tower of a hotel with very helpoful staff and very interesting shaped rooms. Breakfast buffet is good - although coffee tends to go cold quickly so watch for the urn being topped up! The lobby bar is not intimate but is a good meeting place. Just 500m away... More

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and one of the most beautiful. Outstanding architecture, all technical features needed, large light rooms and a very friendly staff. Situated in the outskirts of the city, but only a ten-minutes-drive, and a large shopping center around the corner makes a short stay enjoyable.

The Porta Fira Hotel is actually not in Barcelona, but a little outside. A metro station is close by however. The Hotel itself is modern, the rooms are intelligently designed, they feel larger than they actually are. The bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was nice as well. I did bot try the full breakfast, as... More

+ Location: easy access to airport and town (20 min.) Rooms: very good, but not for everybody (don't go there with somebody you don't know very well) Service: No issues - Food: breakfast, cold hot bar dinner: for 4 star hotel it is a 2 star kitchen cleaning: our room wasn't cleaned properly on the first day - Summary: Good... Stayed here on the weekend of 20/4/12 after searching for ages to find a decent priced hotel. This is predominantly a business hotel, however i travelled with my girlfriend and found the hotel to be perfect. The staff on the desk cannot do enough for you. We forgot a travel adapter and they arranged to get us one for free.... More

I really liked the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms are quite well sized and I liked the location (around 15 - 20 minutes from the Gothic part). The rooms were extremely clean and the view is excellent. The beds are very large and comfortable. The reason why I say that this hotel is not for everyone is because... More

Letter to management Your evening supervisor front desk named Marta needs to be trained in the hospitality business. Right or wrong she should not treat guests that way especially when she collects their money for your hotel who in turns pay her. If she wants to win an argument she should do it outside of work not with people who spend... More

Porta Fira is a great modern hotel! Great architecture and extremely well located for those in Barcelona for fairs and congress. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The staff is friendly. However, service is not the high point of the hotel. Also, the wi-fi, for a hotel focused on business travelers, is pretty lousy!
