Stayed in April 2013. Large rooms. Well appointed. Helpful service oriented staff. Good quality dining. Downside - wifi works in the lobby only. Some folks from our tour group were provided newly renovated rooms which were not upto the mark. Overall would recommend the hotel But insist on seeing the rooms before accepting them.

I never expect 5 * star rated properties on North side placed specially hill station. I've been there in June, 2011 with family. During Kashmir trip, I could say it was better than the hotels. Bathroom was quite unclean and there was broken flush . The location was good and it was below average rated hotel.

Stayed here as part of a MMT tour. So can't really comment on the prices. But the location is good. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The only negative thing is the staff are behind you for tips for the smallest task done.. Otherwise a nice hotel to stay.
