La Serena, nestled into the gorgeous whitewash of old Altea, is a fantastic experience. A thoughtfully designed, comfortable hotel; food for the soul, largely locally sourced and the most generous hospitable welcome imaginable. In particular, our 2 girls were wonderfully catered for (fresh pasta made for Little Miss Fussy). A must visit.

again back at La Serena last week...it was again superbe and it is more the whole admosphere which makes it great! We had dinner one evening and also that was very good! La Serena is a beautiful hotel situated idealy near to Altea old town. The hotel is tastefully decorated and has a fantastic pool area. The rooms are clean with regular bed linen changes.
