This is our favourite place in Highlands! Good location, clean and cosy rooms, good choice of delicious breakfasts with fresh home-baked bread. Steven and Dianne are the perfect hosts! We highly recommend Argyle Guest House.

A well presented comfortable B&B that provided just what was required prior to walking the Speyside Way. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly people who sent us the right way for good food in the evening
This is a very welcoming B&B with a homely comfortable ambience. Steven & Diane are great hosts. An issue for some could be that though our room was en suite some have shared bathrooms. In February the only option for eating that doesn't involve a drive is the local pub, which wasn't great, but this a beautiful area that rewards...

What more can I say but I will most certainly be back to Tomintoul. Great to come across South Africans in this remote part of Scotland. Steven's breakfasts are divine and Dianne also has some great sightseeing, whisky discovery, restaurent tips to share with whomsoever is interested. Next time we would love to take the landrover tour to discover the...

I stayed a week at Argyle House for a horse trip in September. The rooms are all nicely decorated and very cozy. Hospitality couldn't be better. Dianne was a pleasure to chat with and made sure that our every need was met. She has many amazing stories about her family and her life in South Africa & London. Steven's food...

Super place hidden in a small town of 300 or so. We stayed to check out the Highland Games at a nearby town and found this place. The owners are as sweet as can be; definitely do not miss the home-baked bread in the morning! Hot out of the oven! The owners used to run one of the swankiest hotels...

Dianne and Steven were again the perfect hosts for our business trip to the Lecht. The facilities and the quality of the catering were simply excellent. Steven even drove to our meeting place when we had left vital supplies behind - now that really is service! Now all I need is an excuse for a non-business trip!
After staying at probably the best Hotel in Inverness for a week we finally moved on to Tomintoul this quaint little village within the heart of the Cairngorms region of the Highlands surrounded by mountains with the Avon river running by we were greeted with warm heartfelt hospitality as opposed to the very formal service expected at a top class...
