This hotel bears every mark of long overdue maintenance need (e.g rattling elevators and worn down carpets) and modernization (no air conditioning). Worse, the rooms are not well cleaned. The hotel layout and service is such that you must transport your luggage through long corridors and stairs.The sweet female receptionists cannot compensate for all this. This hotel was probably good 20 years ago. Today it's a disaster. No wonder why the hotel was almost empty. The rooms are old fashioned, the furniture are worn out. Jan 2011 they must have had a serious problem with their sewers. most of the hotel at ground floor had a severe odor....

The service COULD be warmer and better, large rooms, surely but small beds and not too comfy. Good breakfast and a panoramic view.

The only really good thing about this hotel is its location to the harbour and ferries; just two minutes by car. Otherwise it's difficult to see why anyone would choose this hotel at this price.
