Have been going to Alva every year since 1996. At first only went once every year but have now been going twice and sometimes three times a year. Would not go anywhere else now. The staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable. can't wait to go again this year

A small but adeqate hotel/room. Clean and tidy. Balcony view over Fig Tree Bay was nice to wake up to every morning. Pool area was nice and relaxing. We stayed at the Alva Apartments in the tourist centre of Protaras for a few days, while visiting ex-pat family. Having stayed in Protaras half a dozen or so times before I pretty much expect rooms to be basic but functional and the Alva didn't do anything to change that. Thoroughly agree with all the positive comments, especially about the Reception staff. With regards the bathrooms, the Alva closes at the end of October for the winter during which there are plans to upgrade them, whilst the pool area is "being looked at". Thought the comments (Review. Get a room overlooking pool, noisy in outside rooms on one side and a crap view on the other . Everything you need in the rooms , microwave ect and very clean . Stayed here for 2 weeks can't go wrong with these apartments it is on the beach front with every bar and restaurant on your doorstep. didn't eat here but bar area was nice & the pool too

just returned from the alva apartments well worth the money we paid.the apartments are spacious and clean and everything you need for self catering holiday.they are in an ideal spot.the receptionists are very friendly and helpful.i would return to these apartments without any hesitation
