Excellent restaurant....I'd honestly say that I haven't had better food/service at a restaurant in this area..probably within Yorkshire and if not further. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming hosts and excellent food. I cannot recommend enough.

Chose this hotel for two nights while we were collecting a collie from the nearby rescue centre.We and our own dog were made to feel very welcome. Comfortable beds, loads of hot water and excellent food. They even pandered to my diet bothering to make special sauce etc. Nothing but the highest praise. Very reasonably priced. Thank you Richard.

We have just returned from a two night stay at this family run hotel and were very impressed with the friendly helpful service we received. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and deserves the AA Rosette status it has been awarded.
