It must have been a wonderful hotel in its heyday, but not now. The grandeur of the public rooms does not carry through to the bedrooms that are strangely furnished with hideous modern furniture that clearly doesn't take the knocks. This was probably a great hotel 50 years ago and still retains its opulence in the reception area and orangerie restaurant.
