I spent 9 days at Quartara with my family in June. The hotel is like a small pearl: it is very small, but it is very familiar and so charming. Maybe we were unlucky. When we were in Panarea one if the bars at the front played booming music every night til 2am. Although Quartara is up on the hill, 200m from the centre, we found it difficult to sleep through Shakira repeat #4 every night! Rooms are nice but overall the hotel was a little too boutique for us.

Great small hotel, very good restaurant, charming staff, and good location in one of nicest places you will visit. We were the only couple without a super yacht on the island. Hire a small boat and visit the near islands.
