Big frogs eat cockroaches. Lizards and frogs eat insects, with the former specialising in flying insects. Am not sure why so many reviewers want these benign creatures out of their rooms. This (basic) hotel pretends to give you more quality than they do. Airco didn’t work, water in shower was very slow and not warm, rusty bathtub.The receptionist promised to have the airo fxed, but nothing happened.

Rooms are thatched and dotted around a site with trees, etc. a little way out of town. Reasonable but not extensive pool area. Food better than average and staff much more efficient than the Cuban norm.
