We spent 3 nights at Casa Mercy in Santa Clara. Warm and helpful hosts that gave us interesting tips for our stay in Cuba. Delicious food and two lovely terraces to chat and relax. Central location in the center of the city. Paul, Belgium

This casa is in my opinion one of the best. The owners try to do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Often without asking, they offer their advice, which turned out to be very helpful. The location of the casa is excellent. The rooms are spotless clean. Without a doubt, it is worth to visit. I... We stayed at Casa Mercy in June 2012 for 1 night. The owners were really helpful and gave us advice on where to go for dinner, helped us to plan our walk through Che's city, prepared a great breakfast with freshly collected fruits and traditional cuban lunch of chopped pork and yukka and a long list of cocktails. They have... More

Excellent casa, big, bright and spotless room, great food, 2 beautiful terraces. A bit more formally run than the other casas (house rules hanging on the wall) but that doesn't make it any less friendly. A bit of street noise because of the central location. Guarded parking available a couple of blocks away.

The family are lovely, very welcoming and the father is very keen to practice his English! He is also a keen mixologist - when you arrive you are presented with an extensive menu to choose from! We enjoyed good breakfasts and delicious evening meals. The family were very helpful in arranging transport for us to visit the northern cays which... More

The casa is situated two blocks from the main plaza. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating to any needs. We enjoyed a nice cuban sigar at their roof top terras. We followed the host advise for a casa particolar and were not disappointed. Being sitated in the city center, the room is facing a busy street.

Only a couple of minutes from the main square, this is an ideal place to stay in Santa Clara. The double bedroom was comfortable, with air conditioning and fan, and opened onto a narrowl balcony overlooking the street. Personal bathroom, directly opposite across the corridor. Beautiful roof terrace and also a laundry room. Good food and very welcoming and efficient... More

Very clean, working hotwater (20min heat up time though), excellent out door area awesome for a drink, chicken for dinner was probably the best of my trip, road is a little noisy in the morning but that's probably standard this close to town. Called a hostel it's the same as a casa particular (family lives in the house). Owner speaks... More
