We really liked the good feeling, we were like at home! Miami Playa is not a nice place in comparation with Cambrils or Hospitalet but the situation is not so bad. We liked the restaurant with fresh and good food!
Wonderful hotel, great value, best experience of the trip. Both Inge and Peter are excellent chefs and the food was outstanding at a moderate price. The owners went out of the way go give us a good experience. I would drive from Barcelona just to eat at their restaurant. Don't forget the dessert or pudding. We found the beach "Miami...

Once again we have stayed at Carpe Diem in Miami Playa, Catalonia. Inge and Peter made us so welcome we love to visit.
Couldn't help noticing one other person's feedback on this place - can't imagine how the lady in question thought Inge was American, she speaks with cut cristal tones in a wonderful English accent - admittedly her partner...

I've just returned from a week staying at the Carpe Diem and I can't praise it too highly. Peter and Inge are great hosts, friendly, helpful, informative, hard working, the sort of people you would design to run a hotel and you pray don't sell up and move on. You do honestly feel that you're a very welcome guest that's...

We have just returned from a two week break in the area. We stopped at the Hotel for one night on recomendation before travelling on to our Villa for the rest of the holiday. From the moment of our arrival we were made so welcome by Inge and Peter. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the menu in the...

We were lucky enough to stumble across the Carpe Diem while on a driving holiday through Spain. Of a dozen hotels we stayed at none delivered the all round service of Peter and the crew at Carpe Diem. My mouth is watering as i remember the meal. Short walk to a golden sand beach.
The building is beautiful and decorated in an amazing way: all very cosy, charming and trendy. An American mother and her son run the hotel. They are both very friendly and talkative. They give lots of tips and useful information. Unfortunately they don't go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had to carry our...

I was looking forward to my stay at Carpe Diem and I was not disappointed. I normally book a hotel with a good kitchen or near good restaurants. Well, Peter is a great chef and he was well up to my high standards regarding the quality and provenance of ingredients and finished dishes. Try the goat's cheese starter and his...

We had a large clean room without any unnecessary frills, the mattress was neither too hard nor too soft, the bathroom spacious clean not spotless. From a 2 star expect neither hair dryer nor fridge nor a lift nor a sound proof room. On the balcony chairs the winter pollution had not yet been washed off and the facade suffers...

Excellent value for the service mix (rooms, food, frindliness). We would not be surprised if this place found its way into one of the major guide books soon. Very central for excursions by car to pitoresque villages, towns and the Ebro vally. Just overlook the plain long stretched agglomeration of shops and housings along the main road and railway and...
