Excellent beach accommodation - there are several options: pitched tents, rooms and camping. Officially they no longer accept campers, but we were able to pitch our tents for three nights at 5 euros a night, and we had some meals at the lodge. “Perfect”

We spent five days at Mwazaro in one of the Palm Cottages. Perfect location. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely beach. Great food. Cottages are basic but charming - really nice to sleep hearing the waves outside. Can't wait to go back. Plenty to do if you want to - or easy to just sit and do nothing at all.

“Better accommodation location than Shimoni - by far”

Location, location, location. This is a no frills enterprise. But thats just great for a zero technic place to stay. Very quiet. Other places down the road in Shimoni are over rated, over priced, over touristy and crowds of local beach vendors tend to hang about like flies.
