We stayed 3 nights at Chateau des Tesnieres and it has been a great experience. How romantic a chateau can be! Rooms are big and clean and very beautifully decorated. Breakfast is extraordinary, the hosts very nice and the surroundings stunning. Vitre is not far away with a wide choice of restaurants.

Chateau des Tesnieres is a great B&B and fantastic if you have ever wanted to stay in a Chateau. The building is set in lovely grounds and has been beautifully restored in a contemporary style. We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights as part of a break after our wedding. We got excactly what we expected - a peaceful, beautiful and special place to stay. Arrived on a cold wet day, no warm welcome as advertised on their website. Had to shout to alert owner. Nice bathroom but lighting poor for applying makeup.
