Stayed here to go to a concert in Delamere Forest. Lovely pub, not fancy, just traditional country style pub. We ate there, no complaints, good value at £6.99 and they serve a good pint. Stayed for two nights. Great value for b and b - breakfast kept us going the whole day very tasty. Evening meal was very good value - simple and good quality. Only reason has lost a point is currently under temporary management - hope they find a new landlord - we would definitely stay again when back in frodsham

We stayed here to break up a journey from Ireland to London via Holyhead, it was well worth it. The two rooms have been refurbished recently, and have been completed to a very high standard. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and the hosts were friendly. Would stay here again.

The initial greeting was not very welcoming. There was an awful smell of damp up to my room above the pub. The room itself was very nicely decorated but not clean & wasn't cleaned during my 2 night stay.
