We really enjoyed our stay at Ricardo' s place. He was an excellent host, full of ideas and suggestions for places to go, even in the next town we were visiting. He has lots of.knowledge about the Po delta water management issues. The rooms are very good, the bathrooms excellent, and the breakfast fabulous.

I can only concur with the other positive reviews below. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and informative, nothing seems too much trouble. I enjoyed my eel for breakfast, served with the traditional red wine. Comacchio is an unusual place, worth a stopover.

We stayed longer than planned in Comacchio because Al Ponticello was such a delight. Just stepping outside was a step into Italian romance. We can't wait to get back.
