It took us a while to find this wonderful hotel coming from Dunkirk but once we found it we loved it. A huge room and we loved having the choice of 3 different restaurants. It was a great central location for exploring some of the World War 1 battlefields and monuments.
We came to Gosnay and use the hotel for a reception with family and friends. The welcome in this place is so courteous and everyone seems to be doing anything to make your stay very pleasant. We occupied several bedrooms so had a good chance tosample them and everyone was absolutely delighted with their accommodation, and the restaurants choice, three...

We have stayed here a few times as a convenient last night stop before heading home via the Tunnel. On our most recent visit we were upgraded to a fabulous corner room, with one king size and two single beds, lovely furnishings and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was...

I recently spent five nights here, just having a break and, as they say "chilling out".
It's an easy drive from Calais, even avoiding the Peage, and Gosnay is well signposted locally, so the Chateau is very easy to find.
Check-in was courteous and efficient and conducted in english and the receptionist showed me to my room. Although I was...

I have been 'Chateaux Hopping ' in Northern France for over two decades and have enjoyed my visits here time and time again. The welcome is always genuine and the staff very polite and efficient. The Chateaux has developed and expanded its facilities over the years due to its popularity but the main building and its first class restaurant remains...

We have used this hotel on annual trips to France for years and this year used it both North and South bound 2 weeks apart. Lovely old chateau although the rooms do vary considerably. We had 125 both times this year which was spacious and had a large very good bathroom.
Dinners do also vary and I sometimes feel that...

Our room was not ideal from first impressions, as it was on the 1st floor, but the grounds were wonderful for a flat-coated retriever, but a great temptation was the really pretty lake! Very dog-friendly attitude from the staff. Very acceptable meal in one of 3 restaurants, where, yet again, our dog was welcomed.
Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a touring holiday in France. Used as a base for local sightseeing including some war cemeteries and Arras.
Greeted pleasantly on arrival and shown to a room overlooking the garden we were told was an upgrade. A nice view of the garden and a comfortable room and beds.
Weather poor on...

This hotel is very good as a first stop after arrival in Calais from England and its appalling traffic conditions. The rooms are varied but generally very good, the only problem is that it is difficult to know what the quality one has booked until you walk in to it.
The slight downside is that some of the staff seem...
