We had the superb upstairs bedroom in this glorious house in a stunning location. Jack was a wonderful host and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.

Great location to act as a base for exploring the Uists or just for long walks along Baleshares pristine beaches. Jac is a terrific host. The house is well designed, open with lots of light whist still giving the bedrooms plenty of privacy.

We stayed with Jac in early May 2012. Chosen wholly on the Tripadvisor reviews we weren't disappointed. Baleshare is a beautiful, peaceful island off the West coast of N Uist, accessed via one of the many connecting causeways of the smaller Western Isles. We stayed here for one night only at the beginning of April 2012 on a whistle stop tour of the Outer Hebrides. What a retreat! Jac's a very talented artist who designed the house himself and you can really feel that the place has a soul. The views are Phenomenal with panoramas of the ocean and of the nearby moorland....
