Pros: 1) Clean room. 2) Walking distance to shops and eateries. 3) Staff are really friendly and helpful Cons: 1) Air-condition didn't quite manage to cool down the whole room due to the room layout and location of the air-condition. 2) Don't expect much from the breakfast 3) The bathroom smell of cigarette smoke.

We were sceptical at first to stay at this hotel but it proved to be a good stay. We arrived early in the morning but was allowed to check in without any extra charge. Although it was a bit old, the room was clean and have all the amenities you would expect in a hotel. The aircond worked fine and we had a good sleep. We used Grab to move around and it took RM4 for any place around Kangar. To UiTM Perlis it’s around RM15. Overall good enough and value for your money.

Stay here one night and felt cheated from their online booking thru Agoda, the room was not really clean, bath room very dirty and the worse part is the Internet was very very very very BAD and terrible even when i make a complaint, the staff not really friendly answering my request and the way she replying also very rough. I miss to reply my office job because of the internet problem. The big joke is, breakfast bu the road side and while a having a breakfast the street dog come nearer. I and family really feel uncomfortable with that situation. iI WILL NOT COME AGAIN.

Stayed here for a night on business trip. a single block hotel with five floor. the hotel doesn't have porch for drop off except you drive to hotel parking area at the back. room price is average. hotel lobby was average, as well as receptionist. the room space was just nice to accommodate 2 people with twin single bed, air conditioned, and have all necessity like flat tv, hair dryer and mini fridge. room wall need new paint. wifi also provided on each floor. the only reason i will come here again was their shower really have a good water pressure with central hot water system. and i really mean that. a satisfying cleansing shower after a hot sweat day. breakfast is provided and the menu is very ordinary but accepted with open air dine area, outside the hotel. hotel car park located at the back of the hotel, fenced and guarded. overall, will come here again especially for that good pressure shower, top 5 best shower of all my review in trip advisor

i'm staying here for 5 days on a business trip. this hotel expect full payment upon check in and they charge me RM100 to book the room. basically once i step in here i'm locked for 5 days because of the full payment. 1st of all the lady and men at the reception area is not friendly and rude. once i check in they didnt even ask my ic, they immediately ask for my credit card once i told i had booking and mentioned my name. no ic verification etc. straight payment. the room was quite badly maintained. aircond was not cold and just air was blowing. i complaint to them and they said will service it. but when i check after back in the evening, no signs of repair. just warm wind was blowing. i request to change room and the receptionist rudely replied no rooms left. if you want, you can take the room with 2 queen size bed with a higher price. and i refused as i dont want to pay more for this kind of useless facility and bad hotel condition. the hair dryer was not functioning and i didnt even bother to ask for replacement because i dont want to face the receptionist. breakfast was below average and rather bad. i really made a mistake and stuck in this hotel for 5 days. i never had this bad experience even in rural areas. i've stayed in quite a number of places due to my travel base nature of job and this is the worst hotel. zero hospitality.

Good location - in front of the main albeit not so busy road, within range of good restaurant & a laundy service nearby. Simple yet adequate with wifi & hot showers, serves basic but fulfilling breakfast. Reception is friendly. However there is no inline telephone & you would need to get down yourself if you want to contact the reception.

The last time I was in Kangar was back in 2004. With no idea on which hotel should I stay for the night, I ventured out in TA and found this property – Top 5 and with reasonably good reviews. Booking This is the first time I was asked for a deposit payment in order to secure a booking. Bureaucratically it has to be made into their official account and the transfer details has to be emailed officially. No deposit equal to no booking. It really troublesome but as Kangar offer limited options, I politely obliged. Location Perfectly suitable for different type of guests- guest who dependable to public transports or guest who came with their own. The property is located near to taxi station and just walking distance to inter cities bus station – really convenient for me as I came with reliable ETS train. The property has it own parking space which is safe and convenient. Restaurants offering local menus are just nearby. Room Rooms are spacious and well organized but I sensed the floor were quite dusty. Toilet was OK as it looks just been renovated 2-3 years ago. With a price of RM118 for 2 single beds with breakfast, the room equipped with the normal amenities. Pillow was a bit hard but I managed to dozed off soundly. Towel was a bit tired though. Breakfast Breakfast was surprisingly good but not extensive, enough to satisfy any appetite as it varied with both Malaysian and western food.

Stayed here for a wedding in Perlis over the weekend. Strategic location at the heart of Kangar Town. Clean and spacious room but hard pillows. Ample breakfast selection but repetitive. Nasi lemak, fried meehoon, toast bread, 2-3 choices of kuih and fruit. Friendly staff but the male reception didn't assist me with the bags up to my room, had to push the trolley on my own, yes it's a budget hotel but he was busy doing nothing. Basic toilet ammenities with water heater, except they accidentally took my mother's face towel because they didn't provide face towel. It happened when they were cleaning the room. Informed the receptionist but no action was taken. Good for older travellers as they have lift. Wifi not working.
