Ruteng is not the highlight of Flores by any means, but if you find yourself here then this is the best value place in town. As a convent, its spotless and cheap. Poking around the convent and listening to choir practice makes this a quirky stay. Its a fifteen minute walk into the centre of town.

Yes -- these are rooms in a convent and probably the newest, cleanest place to stay in Ruteng. Rooms are on the small side, super-clean, with good hot water and water pressure and a big bar of soap in the bathroom. The room had twin beds and a small nightstand. Very positive experience. Very clean and ample rooms, serene atmosphere and great leadership by a charismatic Mexican nun. We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay there after a tiring tour across Flores.

Small but clean rooms with hot running water. I had my first decent shower whilst in Flores at this hotel which in itself makes this place memorable. If you are staying in Ruteng I would recommend this Catholic Mission Hotel.

It is not a luxury hotel but spotless and very nice hotel. It was also relatively cheaper compare to the other hotels around Flores.
