We couldn't get rooms at the Polochar but we ate there on three consecutive nights. The food was consistently excellent. So was the service from the friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Don't miss it!

We stayed at Polochar Inn on two nights a week apart while touring The Hebrides on bicycles. The setting is fantastic - especially if the weather is good. Second visit. Rooms very well appointed with superb views to Eriskay and Barra. Excellent restaurant with very friendly service. Ideal situation for local touring within the Uists, Benbecula,Eriskay and by ferry to Barra. There is a cosy lounge in which to relax. Lovely walks on nearby beaches.

The Polochar hosted my Wedding for me. Service and food were excellent, and all the guests were very well looked after. Could not fault it, and the most stunning venue for a Wedding in the whole of the Uk, at least that is what I think!
