We ate there one night in April 2013 while staying in Grassington. The food was average pub food but the waitresses seemed either under too much pressure or, in one case, more preoccupied in chatting to friends, so we waited a long time for each course. There are better places in the area....

review based on a few beers... we crowned the Devonshire arms the best for serving Black sheep and we know our ales too. have eaten here before and was excellent, staff are great. keep serving good ales!!

just been for a meal and i have to say the food was 1st class and the staff are very helpful and friendly the service very quick, and the price is good to for the lovely dishes you get, its right in the center of the town

This is a really nice country pub. It is right in the centre of the village and very popular with the locals. Always wanted to stay here as the pub and food are excellent BUT the bedrooms let it down. Toilet seats that don't fit the bowl, no heating on when we arrived room very cold. Old fashioned 'Quirky' hotel with loads of character and uneven bedroom floors which added to the charm. Food was lovely. Waitress staff,bar people all friendly.
