We rented this villa for a week for a family of 11 including 4 small children. The villa was ideally sized and appointed for our needs. The rooms are a good size and there were ample bathrooms. The only negative was lack of blinds / shutters meaning the rooms got light vey early in the morning and also got very hot during the day.

The owner and his family were extremely helpfujl and even prepared us a 4 course meal with local specialities on 2 nights.

The swimming pool was excellent and just the right distance from the house not to be to noisey for those not "participating" but close enough to be able to keep an eye on the children.

The view across the valley was spectacular and at night the fields were full of fireflies producing a dazzling light show.

The only real downpoint is the final 700m of the drive to the property which is on a narrow, steep track. Just about ok for a normal car loaded with luggage but no fun at all in a large... More
