We stayed at the lodge belonging to the hotel. The accomodation is very spacious,clean and tasteful. Two Double bedrooms and one twin, all on-suite (one of them with shower over enormous bath). Just had a two night, three rounds of golf break at Hunley. Fantastic course with a different layout each day. This is achieved by having 29 holes available. The accommodation, catering and friendly staff just added to our enjoyment.

My wife has again been working in the area and for the third year in succession we stayed at Hunley for about 25 days over six weeks. Nice quiet hotel, designed for golfers [its on the course]but good for a weekend break Room spacious and clean v.quiet although the bed was a bit too soft. Food was superb, both dinner and breakfast, prices reasonable. View from the restaurant will not be bettered in this part of the world. Saltburn only 5 mins away by car.

Extractor fan in bathroom filthy and didnt work. Huge room, but no plug sockets at all on side where beds were. No clock in room. Small tv, only basic channels. Room service unavailable. Only premium pager available. Cold breakfast. Got it on special offer would have been very unhappy if I had paid the normal tariff
