Stayed here on business with a colleague and very impressed with the quality of the accommodation. Warm, spacious room, free wired internet, plenty of space for clothes etc (great if you were on a walking trip and had wet/dirty gear) in the porch, nice big shower. We had a great time here. The staff are very friendly and the bar has some excellent locally brewed beer. Accomodation is first rate, clean and spacious. Stayed for 2 nights, this weekend, and cannot fault it in any way. My companions and I all enjoyed the Hotel, Staff, Food, Rooms, and Bar, and I heard no complaints from anyone. So pleased, we've provisionally booked, again, for June '13

Having read some excellent reviews of the Cresswell my husband and I drove there on Thursday evening. We found the pub warm and welcoming and ordered our meal from the menus given to us. We had an excellent stay at the Cresswell Arms in August 2011 so decided it would make an excellent four day break in March 2012, it was everything we remembered it to be, extremely comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and excellent food.

Stayed Saturday night for Malton AF cycling sportive on Sunday. Arrived just after 9pm but still served excellent meal. Very good steak and kidney pie. Had to leave v early Sunday am and was given excellent preprepared breakfast. Room First Class. Alround brilliant value. Will be back for the Sportive next year. We stayed in the "caravan" at the Creswell Arms. What a find. It was HUGE, had its own lounge, fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitcehn, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We ate dinner in the pub which was lovely. All in all a fabulous stay in a wonderful little place.

Stayed at the Cresswell arms for 2 day weekend stay in late January. Picked this hotel as we have a dog and they are pet friendly.
