I just spent a week at the cheetah lodge and it was a brilliant place to stay. Eloise, who manages the lodge, is a wonderful hostess and an amazing cook. I am a vegetarian and often the food you get served is very boring and done without much imagination. Not so here, every day I was served the most heavenly... More

My husband & I recently spent a night at the Cheetah Lodge, De Wiltd. We parked in the beautiful garden as indicated, and the Lodge was not immediately visible. Straight away a Dalmatian dog followed by a lady ,came to meet us. Elouise is the manageress of the lodge and a charming and welcoming person she is. Sebastian is is... More

We spent one night at the Cheetah Lodge but wished we had been able to stay longer. Eloise is a wonderful hostess, the room was very good and the food, especially dinner, was excellent. The lodge is charming and the gardens are lovely to relax in with beautiful plants, birds and the friendly dogs. It's close to the de Wildt... More

Eloise, as manager and hostess of the Cheetah Lodge, has brought a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to the Cheetah Lodge. Being well situated near the de Wildt Cheetah Centre made it a convenient stopover, but we really enjoyed the meals, the garden, the birds, Sebastian the Dalmatian and the attention to detail. This was a lovely guesthouse at which to stay... More

Eloise has a comfortable and friendly hotel - ideally situated for the Ann van Dijk Cheetah Centre (via dirt roads - allow 12-20 minutes if you're not used to them). Not far from Lanseria Airport and well-placed for other visits in the Hartebeesport area. Excellent breakfasts and friendly dogs (who seemed to remember us from the warmth of our reception).

One of the highlights of our holiday in South Africa. This magnificent stone building with its extensive garden is in a secure location and is well worth the drive off the main road. We stayed in the upstairs club room with a balcony and splendid views. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. Eloise was a charming host and the meals... More

This lodge is a bit far off the road. Off the main paved road you will follow a dirt road winding up a hill. The grounds have security and lodge is surrounded by very nice gardens. There is a chapel on the property. The main shared areas are big and open with many books of African travel, animals, and history.... More

We stayed at the Cheetah lodge for one night. Fantastic room and a beautiful garden. Enjoyed the company of the labrador very much. A wonderful host and a great dinner and breakfast. The visit to the Cheetah Center was a bit expensive (private tour) but an unforgettable experience led by a very entertaining and profession guide.

We stayed at the Cheetah Lodge for 1 night at the end of June 2011 prior to visiting the Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre the following day. We stayed in the Cheetah Cub room (Rs1200 per night). As for the lodge itself, we enjoyed their common facilities. The gardens were beautiful and the downstairs rooms were nice, we particularly enjoyed... More
