Situated in a quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to shopping, internet stations, restaurants and most anything else you'll need. Fans in the rooms came in handy. Clean linens and clean washrooms. Helpful "Guido" was a great resource. I recommend La Posada.

Spent a couple of weeks kayaking in tena, the chap who runs posada is ace, he speaks English which helped us gringos for sure.the compound and place is super secure and there is loads of space for boats and gear, rooms are nice, clean and have fans and moz screens. A good place to stay in tena.

Was going to stay 5 days and decided to stay 10 :) Good location closed to bars and restaurants. Stayed on the river side... and my room was spotlessly clean... Staff were very friendly all in all a nice quite and safe place to stay...

Good hotel overlooking the river; unfortunately the breakfast was not available (maybe because it was low season? I think we were the only ones in the hotel...) Anyway it has a good position and it's easy to find a place to eat.
