I ahve stayed here before in one of their budget rooms and once you got use to the toilet being inside the shower I was quite happy. This time I got one of their double bed rooms as the photo on the website looked spacious however my room is quite small and badly designed. There is no seals on the... More

Ridiculously long way out of town/absolutely nowhere near the airport. Stale musty smell everywhere. Tiny filthy rooms, didn`t want to even sit on the bed let alone sleep in it. Room service....the most awful "meals" in a takeaway box with plastic cutlery. I was informed on asking after a smoking room, that if I smoked in the room, there would... More

Obviously this hotel (I stayed in the budget rooms) is a fair distance from Melbourne CBD and so not particularly suitable for tourists (which I wasn't). It offers teeny tiny little rooms (especially the so-small-it's-borderline-unsanitary bathrooms) designed for students. One of the problems with the size is that the bathrooms are not well ventilated and often cause the smoke alarms... More

We stayed for 7 nights and ate at the restaurant 6 out of the 7 nights. Ian the chef is awesome and is definitely going to be one of the top chefs in Australia. The other staff were excellent also always smiling and could not have been more helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and would highly recommend it to... More

This VERY low cost hotel was a total happy surprise. The staff could not have been more helpful. I booked one night and ended up staying a week. Sure the single rooms are pretty basic, but for $20 more a night if you stay a few days you get the Queen suites at $90 a night. Great staff, pool, great... More

Dear Sk0l, Thank you so much for letting us know about your stay here at sleep and go. It’s always a pleasure to read positive comments and fantastic to hear that you recognized what a great team we have here and what great facilities we have to offer. I do agree with you, that the single studio are basic but... More

We stayed here for 5 day during the Christmas period and it was generally enjoyable. We booked the two-bed manhattan room which comfortably fit 4 adults and price-wise, was very good as all the other hotels charged insane rates (especially during christmas). Though the room didn't appear as good or as big as the pictures, it was very clean and... More

We are on a long stay in Melbourne. So even though we are in the residential area it's still part of the hotel. To say the stay has been full of problems is an understatement. It doesn't matter how many times you bring up the problems it doesn't get fixed. One major problem is the longer you stay the more... More

Dear Xm9. I am disappointed to read your comments regarding you experience as a resident at Bell City. Whilst resident rooms are located in the same building as our hotel products, the terms, conditions and pricing is very different to that of the hotel options. We are unsure about what you mean by “the longer you stay, the more they... More

Okay, well first I would say don't confuse the two hotels...although part of the same resort and you have access to all the amenities on both (connecting hotels) they are different. On the side where the pool and cafe/restaurant is, there is Le Student 8 and Sleep and Go rooms. On the other side where the mini mart, cafe, restaurant... More

Dear Juliedolly, Thank you for sharing you recent experience at the hotel. It is pleasing to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The sleep and go rooms are great value for money and also have great views with their floor to ceiling windows. It is rewarding to hear the positive feedback about the service given by our staff.... Good stay, but very poor service at the front desk: people do not know anything, give wrong room number, make mistakes with credit cards, etc... Suite rooms are very nice with great views, wifi is available, but not for free. Nice pool with bbq facilities. Breakfast at Chill restaurant was excellent, but expensive. Location is 35 minutes frm downtown with... More

We stayed at Sleep & Go Melbourne on our road trip from Sydney to Adelaide (via Melbourne) for four nights in November 2011. It cost us about $30 less per night compared to some average motel in the middle of nowhere we stayed at the night before. I was very happy with our stay. The rooms were really nice, clean... More

Dear s1m0n86, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review following your recent stay at Sleep and go.
