I am currently staying at the wild coast sun and had to share my experience.I had just ordered room service and found a hair in the burger, I called room service and the supervisor asked me "whose hair" it was and gave me such an attitude.its a shame to see such a good place get run to the ground.

We had a weekend break and travelled as parents with a 6 and 3 year old. All excited to see the new water slides, we were quite disappointed that most of the slides were of the extreme variety and intended for adults only, with kids less than 1.2m not allowed, not even if accompanied by an adult. Back at the... More

Have stayed many times at this property over the last 20 years and have made many special memories. During our recent stay it is apparent that the property is aging and whilst room renovations are underway one gets the feel that you are staying in a property now decades old. The room was comfortable as was the bed. We enjoyed... More

We stayed there for two nights. Because it was during the week, we really enjoyed our experience. There were no lines for check in ( we did see the lines on saturday morning as we were leaving) , the rooms were clean and comfortable. ( Two monkeys were playing on my balcony so be careful about leaving the door open).... More

The hotel is reasonably clean, not spectacularly so. Nothing stands out as being particularly good. There was a queue 11-people long at check-in with one person checking us in at the lobby, while five hotel employees lounged around at the front desk - unimpressive. One thing I found particularly odd in this (ahem) 4-star hotel, is that you can't get... More

Began on a weekday very relaxing & user friendly. Need a wider variety of food outlets, however. Annoying, was constant knocking on door to make up room.. 1st experience of this nature.did not have don't disturb card at the door... From Friday night place fills up till Sunday day. Caters for young families & casino visitors.

Stunning location. Conference facilities were great, but I guess most people visit for the casino experience - nothing unusual or different from the other casinos in teh Sun-group's stable. Food was excellent. The hotel is old but in very good shape, and rooms have have refurbished and are on par with very good hotels. The gardens and beach are easily... More

The river cruise from the Wild Coast Sun, is well worth the effort. The large river cruiser can take about 80 passengers in comfort. The cruise wich lasts about 1 hour leaves four times a day in season and slowly meanders up Mtamvuma river between Port Edward and the Wild Cost Sun. Fish Eagles can be spotted on the way... More

We have spent 6 wonderful days here, the rooms are gorgeous with breathtaking sunrise views over the beach & ocean. You can let your hair down and enjoy every moment, spend lazy days around the picture perfect pool with a beautiful cocktail in hand and just unwind away from the City. The restaurants are great and value for money where... More
