Monteverde is a beautiful place to stay, but don't go to this hotel. Rooms are old, the bathroom is awful. Insects are in the rooms (dead and alive). Breakfast is simple. You have to come early, or else it's cold. Staff is friendly.

We went in the green season so the hotel had plenty of rooms available. We got a beautiful room on the balcony with an amazing view. The host is also very friendly and happy to help with all information.

Big spacious rooms with a view. Lovely little garden with hummingbird feeders downstairs, pleasant balcony with hammock upstairs. Excellent service. They booked a hike for me with a very knowledgeable guide named "Roy" and saw a whole family of quetzals along with countless other birds and bugs.
