We stayed at Premium Deluxe Cottage in this resort. We were transferred to the resort on a motor boat and welcomed with tender cocunut and freshning towels.The appearance of the resort was nice. Poovar Island Resort is located on a beautiful property. A well kept, virgin beach and serene maze of backwaters are its best features. We took a two days package there, it was fun. The resort is good, spacious with lot of greenery. Food was ok, but not great. Restaurant had buffet dinner/BF and lunch. Staff was really helpful. Overall experience was good. We enjoyed a lot in the pool with poolbar!
