Our family of 5 stayed here and had a wonderful time. The food was superb. 5 stars! The town is "sleepy" but the pope's house (John 23rd) was very interesting. Highly recommend this as a stop off for those travelling across northern italy.

While the rooms and bathrooms are have been done quite nicely and they have spent a lot of money on it, it was not at all what i was expecting. Positives: Quiet, clean room., updated bathroom, decent meal.
Negatives: No public phone or computer. When I almost begged to use a phone and pay for it, there was a general discussion in Italian amongst three staff whether I could or not.
Bed hard as a rock.
Breakfast was coffee, a couple slices of bread and a small muffin.
Booked for...

Obviously a lot of money has been spent on this place - expensive kitchen, lift etc but the bathroom was odd - horrible plastic spa bath shower effort which spoilt the eco friendly style of the hotel and the room was so poorly lit that we could barely see to read - there were also only one pillow each and...

Very intersting hotel where a great deal of money has been spent on the bedrooms and bathrooms and a huge kitchen with lots of expensive equipment which sadly does not reflect the food. Very unfriendly staff. Probably one of the worst meals we have experienced in Italy.
This was the third time we stayed here - the other twice was great and so we were expecting more of the same - nice room, great food and slightly disappointing breakfast. We were a party of four - parents and 2 adult young - we had booked 2 rooms by email in February and received email confirmation (that included...

We were here as a family of 4 last year at the end of our trip and it was excellent. The rooms spacious and the food and ambience very good. So friendly and helpful too as we discovered when the owners rushed to the airport with a passport. Highly recommended
