Easy hotel to reach Valle Nevado, La Parva or El Colorado. Hair raising drive up the switch backs to reach the hotel. It's a very good value. The hotel itself is very cute but nothing grand. Food is very good, rooms are on the bigger side and they even dry your boots!!!. Place can smell of oil at times?

Posada Farellones is a very cozy place to stay with excellent food and only 15 min away from the El Colorado ski slopes (they offer free rides to go and to come back from two or three different ski centers!). Two friends and I stayed 6 nights at the Hotel Posada de Farellones in August 2011 for a guy ski trip. The staff was great. The food was excellent. The room was clean. I will stay there for my next ski trip to Tres Valles.
